16 years ago: the U2 Zooropa Tour

I can't imagine that it's already 16 years ago that I went to see the U2 Zooropa Tour - perhaps the best rockshow I've ever seen. I'm getting old I guess..

Amazing comics: Black Hole by Charles Burns

There has already been written so much about this dark and freaky comic, that I can't imagine I can add anything interesting to all that. The atmosephere is so specific, that I unconsciously keep thinking about it when I read other books or watch movies - like Meyer's Twilight or David Fincher's Zodiac for instance. Just google this one up.

Mr. Hernia (2)

Last week I went to the hospital for my hernia. I was a little nervous.

At "le moment suprême", the doctor that came for my treatement turned out to be an old boyscout buddy. That was quite a relief - after checking:

I didn't get to look at the needle itself, and the pain was ok thanks to some local anesthesia and some stuff that got me high - "to relax your muscles".


And as always I had the best nap in months afterwards, I guess it's the drugs that swept me off my feet. With the latest album of Emiliana Torrini I felt like I was in heaven.
